RdRpCATCH consolidates eight published RNA-dependent RNA polymerase profile HMM databases into a single, user-friendly platform and enables scanning of (meta-)transcriptomic assemblies for RNA viruses. As described in the paper, the tool was developed as a community initiative following the 1st RdRp Summit, and it was presented as a keynote at the second RdRp Summit in Lisbon, May 2025.
